hey there, i've had CFS for a couple of years with all the classic symptoms, but this year i've had terrible nausea. i struggle to think what could be causing it. i was on antidepressants, and thought that they were causing it, so i came off them, but i'm still nauseous (though i never vomit). i am reluctant to say that i do struggle with anxiety attacks, because people automatically assume that this is what is causing my nausea, but i get this all the time, sometimes when i've not had anxiety for several months and doing very well otherwise. i also think that with anxiety attacks, the nausea you get passes with the attack. so i thought perhaps something was up with my stomach, and i've been on probiotics for several months. they have in fact, helped every other symptom i get, EXCEPT the nausea! i am more energetic, my throat doesnt hurt as much...

has anybody else had this? please help me, its starting to really get on my nerves!

Hey sleepyz,
I get chronic nausea as well. I wish I could tell you what causes it, but I can't. It really really bothers me too! I tell people its like pregnancy nausea randomly off and on like almost everyday. It gets really bad. I have short bowel syndrome which results in me having Chronic Fatigue. I lack the ability to absorb normal nutrients and everyday vitamins. I have a feeling that it has something to do with something my body lacks, because that is usually the case. I have ye to figure out what so that I can hopefully provide my body with the needed ailment to rid myself of this horrible day to day pain in the beep. If I figure it out I will certainly let you know. I guess its kinda nice to know someone else has this... not really tho I would rather you didnt. ha.

hi allin, and thanks for responding! i really empathise with you, as i know how the nausea can be such an interference. you're right, it is exactly like pregnancy nausea (not that i know what thats like, but i've done some research on morning sickness and it seems to be identical to what i have). i have read that raspberries are really good for morning sickness, so i am going to try that out. the best two things i have found are exercise and slippery elm. have you changed your diet in any way that helped?

take care!
