Hi,

Not sure what is up with me.

I seem to struggle a lot with sleeping problems. Once Im alseep its great and I can sleep for hours but its the entire process of going to bed which I find incredibly frustrating.

I am married and my wife goes to bed at 10:30pm but Im up now at 03:26am and still not able to goto bed :( I emotionally feel unable to do this.

I have had problems about 2.5 years ago with serious depression illness I had and whilst I got better from that I have always gone to bed late and find it hard to cope a lot and still don't feel 100% better. Since then I have worked in different IT jobs and was also diasnosed with IBS. This has caused me lots of stress to health and work and recently decided to work for myself from home doing website design and web hosting. Whilst the stress has dropped, so has my IBS and don't seem to be having many problems with IBS but this sleeping thing is really getting to me.

I also seem to feel extremely achey all the time and always feeling in pain, having colds and sore thoats all the time.

I feel like I have been ill for the last 4 years.

help me :(

Christian~
I'm really sorry that you are feeling so bad. I can totally relate to the things you are going through. As I sit here on the computer, my husband as laying next to me in bed, snoring up a storm! This is a nightly occurrence for me... listening to him snore while I can't make myself go to sleep. I get so sick of being in here night after night not being able to sleep. I can't fall asleep or stay asleep. I have been sleeping only a couple of hours each day and I'm so tired and my emotions are so raw! I feel that I am on the verge of a break down at all times.
I hope you are able to find some sleep. I usually take Ambien CR and Rozerem (together) to help me sleep. The Rozerem helps to fall asleep and the Ambien CR helps to stay asleep. I just happen to be out of them at the moment and I'm waiting for them to come in from my mail order pharmacy. Until then, I'll go without sleep and hurt a billion times more than normal. Terrie

Hi - has anyone suggested you have lyme disease and/or possibley another tick borne infection?

Please email stephanie@turnthecorner.org to get the name of a lyme literate doctor in your state.
You can also email me with any questions lauradghrs@hotmail.com
