My daughter got CFIDS first, followed later by Chronic Lyme Disease and coinfections, and then Fibromyalgia. The LLMD says when Lyme is killed off, FM will go away.

I have both also. Ive read online that some doctors consider the two to be connected but on different sides of the spectrum.

Hi. Yes I have Fibro as well as CFS, the Rheumatologist that I saw told me that, "If you have CFS of course you have Fibromyalgia. If the pain is more prominent than the fatigue we give you a diagnosis of Fibro, but if the fatigue is more pronounced we say you have CFS." Mind you, he also told me that flatulence was not a symptom of Coeliac Disease. I used to be an SRN, and I know he was wrong on that one so what about the Fibro/CFS? Chizlib

I've been diagnosed with Fibro.. however I experience fatigue episodes where I can't move or anything for a period of minutes, sometimes hours.

And I relate to a lot of the CFS, and I believe both are very closely related.

Yes, I have been diagnosed with CSF, FMS, EBV, and Candida. I also have some food allergies to dairy, wheat and my doc wants me off all sugar including fruit, fruit juice, etc. I am doing much better since seeing Dr. Jenefer Huntoon in Seattle. Her strong therapeutic enzymes are supposed to literally digest the virus, yeast etc. and this seem to be working for me.

Hi all, yes I have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and Fibromyalgia. After taking the apnea test over night twice, they said that I wake up every 45 SECONDS. No wonder I'm tired alll the time. I have to sleep about 15+ hours a day to feel refreshed. I tried over and over again to use the CPAP machine and I can not get used to it. For the Fibro I use the 10's unit. Though I am on a lot of meds for other problems, I am on no meds for Fibro as they have all made me too sick or they didn't work, even Lyrica. Only the 10's unit works the best so far, but it's annoying and it really hurts to take the sticky pads off. OUCH!!!!

Take care all, God Bless.

Lyme disease often the root cause of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibro. Please try to see an lyme literate doctor. I think that as more research is done, my guess would be that over 90% of CFS suffers have lyme disease. Right now there is no known cause, but soon we wil find the truth. Please let me know if you need the name of a great lyme doctor in your area.

good luck.
