  ...has anyone discussed accomodations in the workplace with Human resources dept.?  Since CFS and FMS are chronic I would think they would qualify under American with Disabilities Act....????

CFS is covered under the DDA in UK, not sure how it works in America. However the law is only as good as the persons who 'interpret' it. There is no guarantee to how long you get to stay in work depending on your conditions and their interpretation of 'reasonable adjustment'. With the problems of this illness, most people will not have the 'energy or inclination' to contest their 'employers'. shakehead
