Hey everyone..I am new here and as my subject heading implies I have been ill for 3 yrs and the doc has had a heck of a time ruling things out and getting me the proper diagnosis.I have all the classic symptoms including Fatigue, muscle aches and pains, migrating joint pain, brain fog, etc.But I also have some very misleading symptoms..ex..Geographic tongue, raynauds disease, and a butterfly rash on my face and slightly pink rash on chest(Lupus was ruled out) and intermittent lower body paralysis.Ive been tests for Lyme, vitamin deficiencies, MS, Lupus,RA and a bunch of other common ailments with these symptoms.Anyone else have similar symptoms?Im so tired most of the time and so weak that I have trouble doing basic everyday things.

I've been struggling with CFS for about 3 years as well, struggling physically and mentally and have just joined this chat room because no-one I'm close to seems to understand...perhaps this might help a bit. As for my symptoms, well overwhelming, relentless tiredness (I don't think anyone who hasn't had CFS can really appreciate this depth of tiredness)...then there's constant back pain, wrist pain, memory loss, poor concentration, dizziness, weakness, lack of temperature control, photophobia, numb hands......think that just about it. So, how is everyone else going trying to hold down a job and bring up kids...any other single mums out there with CFS who would like to chat??

Did your primary care doctor do all those tests or did you go to a rheumatologist?  Maybe you should go to a rheumatologist and get re-tested for Lupus. 

Did they check your thyroid?
