Hello everyone I'm new here. First let me introduce myself. I'm a soon to be 41 year old, married mom of two children. My daughter is two, and my son is 13 and has Autism. I've come on here, because I'm desperate for answers. I have been going to the doctor for numerous health problems, and I'm wondering even though I'm not consuming Aspartame diet drinks and candy anymore, could I have irreversible damage from years of consuming so much of it? It's a little lengthy, but here's my problems.

joint pain in knees, hips, ankles, and sometimes in hands
sleep apnea and sleep paralysis
dry itchy eyes
sudden extreme tiredness
constantly catching head colds
muscle pain in my inner thigh when knee pain comes on (only muscle pain is in the thigh, nowhere else)
terrible muscle twitching
pain in neck glands, even if I'm not catching a cold
lower chest pain
groin pain (sometimes)
blisters in mouth and private areas (no stds)
memory loss
nausia (sorry can't spell good)
ear ringing everyday
swelling in knees and ankles
high blood pressure and colestorol ( again sorry for the bad spelling, and I know that, that would not be a sign but wanted to put it down anyway)

There may be some other things I'm missing on this list, but can't think of everything right now.

We have a history of auto immune diseases in my family such as Lupus and RA, but I tested negative for those, so far.

Was also wondering if Aspartame can cause auto immune diseases

Thank you for taking the time to read this, hope to hear from you. smilewinkgrin
