My friend has had terrible vertigo for over 2 years. She has had every test under the sun, with no diagnosis found . She is 63, also suffers from migraines and depression. One dr. tried klonopin, another ativan and celexa. needless to say she is very tired.

Has she seen an ear, nose, and throat doc. Have her hearing checked. My father inlaw had this
problem and it was his ears causing the problem.

I would suggest checking cortisol levels. I had vertigo etc before being diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency. I have to take replacement cortisol and the vertigo is better.

Ailsa, there's a current thread on the Lyme disease forum about this....I have Lyme (plus LOTS of other things) and was just told I have adrenal fatigue too, as mentioned by gotguts123. Many of us on the Lyme forum have vertigo.

Has your friend been tested for Lyme disease? I always tell people that if the symptoms are weird and the doctors can't figure it out, you should test for Lyme disease. But be aware that the tests are only about 50% accurate, so it's best to see a doctor who's an expert on Lyme too.
