Hi Im new to this forum, I usually am on the lyme forum. I have/had lyme and

now we are leaning toward Chronic fatigue since I have been treated with enough

antibiotics for 2yrs now, and seem to come up with the same symptoms of Chronic

fatigue after every treatment of lyme.

So my question is can anyone give me an idea of what works for them for pain??

I use vicaprofen which is hydrocodone with ibuprofen. I use that when I can't stand

the pain anylonger. But I really dont like them cuz they make my heart race, and give

me anger issuses when they wear off. If feel like I am on speed when I take this med.

I have not told my doctor of the reaction of the meds. Kinda weird that it never used

to make me feel this way, and now that I have intense anxiety at times it makes my

heart race and have anger issuses. Sorry for the repeat in explaination but I cant seem

to get rid of this pain. Sometimes the pain is so intense that I cant think or speak, just

sit in agony.

Thanks for any replies

Stacy

I am on generic prozac which helps keep my serotonin levels up. This in turn helps me cope with the pain, sleep better and keeps my mood from bottoming out. You might ask your doc for an SSRI (selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor) to help you out.

I have chronic Lyme, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.

I have severe pain and see a pain specialist. I take fentanyl patches and oxycodone as needed for pain. I also take cymbalta.

good luck.
