So I need so help. about 2 months ago I was sick with what a doc at an urgent cared said was a sinus infection and bronchitis. Plus during that time I was coughing my head off so much that I got a pinched nerve in my neck. So I had to seek chiropractic help for that. Which after a month of going 3-4 times a week healed that. After that all went away, I still felt awful. So I got in with my regular doctor b/c I was just constantly tired, ran down, dozing off, blurred vision, and often feeling like  I was going to pass out and getting really dizzy. So she does blood work and tells me it's Mono and to just rest so it can go away. My last visit to the chiropractor I was telling him about the possible Mono and he wanted my blood results and he got them sent to him. The results were EBV Ab VCA IgM <0.2 -

EBV Early Antigen AB IgG 0.9H

 EBV Ab VCA IgG >8.0H

EBV Nuclear Antigen Antigen Ab, IgG >8.0H

He told me it was CFS.

Which is it and what should I do?

Thanks!

I had mono. It's miserable. about 10 months later, I was feeling even worse and my doc said it was CFS. After months of fighting and searching, I found out it was lupus. They thing having the EBV in my body triggered the lupus. Who knows. Something to look for though. My doc did dozens of tests to no avail and called it CFS for lack of a better option. Eventually, I found my way to a rheumatologist who did better tests and said lupus. Not much better, but at least now I have a reason for being exhausted other than "we can't figure out why." Best of luck.
