Hi

I spend most of my time in the anxiety/depression forums. I was wanting to find out the main symptoms of CFS. I have a number of anxiety disorders and depression but I am always tired and feel very weak. It takes me ages in the morning to get going and I struggle to get things done as I am so fatigued all the time. Any information would be useful.

Hello Hibee,  I sure hope you don't have CFS but I have found that the Center for Disease Control has a very good site full of information about CFS.  Also, WebMD is good too.  Just Google them & you will find all the info you need.  CFS has quite a list of symptoms but these same symptoms can also be applied to any number of illnesses.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask.  Warm hugs, Denise

Hi, I am 36, I've been depressed most of my adulthood, I didn't know why, i slept all of the time

cry  Depression can drain u. It can alter your whole life. I'm diagnosed with bipolar, and border line personality disorder. You may have CFS, I was diagnosed with it at a rhuematologist, they test u for the epstein barr virus and combined with your symtoms make a diagnoses. I also have fibro, myofascial pain syndrome and scoliosis, I get migraines also... But the fatigue is overwhelming..I don't sleep well without taking my klonepin, I actually nap better during the day. I have a horrible time waking up in the morning, more like the afternoon. I hate it. You should see a rheumatologist, they should be able to help ease your mind, whether u have it or not, at least if u know then they can help manage it with some medication and other methods may help, yoga, exercise. A number of things they will suggest..If u r worried, then don't hesitate and get tested for it. Then you'll know for sure. Its not terminal. Its just exhausting, and u sound already exhausted so what couldnt  hurt to get tested. Best of luck to u. Either way u should get some kind of doctor to check u out. its possible that u could just be going through a bad spout of depression maybe due to the weather, i was in bed for a week and a half due to deppression and a fibro flair. I dislike the cold and didn't wanna get outta bed... just cuddle my cats and curl up in my warm bed. Some days u actually need to just rest. I used to lie around all day once  a week, watching movies, my cats all joined me in bed. take a nap or two. just give my mind and body a rest. take it easy and don't stress too much.

Hi Sarula

Thanks for the reply. I am tired all the time and like you takes me till early afternoon but it could be down to all the anxiety and depression that I am going through at the moment.
