Hi, I am a collegiate runner and have had mono for over a year now. At the start of a new season I was hoping I could run but my symptoms seem to keep coming back. I have good days and bad days. My main symptom is chronic fatigue where I can't even focus in class, I get dizzy when I stand up, see black spots, have sores in my mouth, run a fever, frequently feel nauseous and sometimes vomit, can't concentrate and am sometimes confused, have enlarged spleen, have muscle spasms in my left thigh, and always have an ill feeling. I just tested negative for mono and the doctors say this can't be mono anymore. They ran many tests where I tested positive on the ANA test and have many abnormalities but say the results aren't high enough to be critical. Just wondering if anyone else is in this case. I have lost a year of my life and feel this is critical. Please Help!
