I have been sick for years with flu like symtoms. Sometimes it would last for a few days but little by little it would knock me off my feet my days. I finally found a Dr. who said she had a feeling that I had this. Blood tests comfimed. I recently lost my job because of this. I kept getting sick. Upper resp infections, stept throat, flu..... My immune system is so bad. I am taking B-12 shots weekly, many vitiamins, supplements. When I am not sick I real strong, but then it hits and I am so sick!!! How does one cope with this? I am single and cannot afford to be without a job. I am scared to start another job and then get fired because of not coming in. Has anyone else have this problem???

I have been unable to work outside the home for many years due to inability to get to work consistently and frequent severe flares. Many people go the disability route.
If you can find something to do from home, that might be your best bet. I did proofreading/editing from home for a few years until that got to be too much. A job that offers flexible hours might work also IF you have an understanding boss.
Most if not all states have rehabilitation/counseling to help you find something suitable based on health limitations.

Try a clean diet of organic foods including chicken and fish, and smoothies made of vegetables and fruits. Most of the food sold in grocery stores is full of refined sugars, antibiotics, aspartame and other ingredients that the body cannot deal with. I struggled with CFS for 15 years including problems with IBS, dizziness, low energy, you name it. After a few short (and tough) weeks on a strict diet the changes in my body were amazing. Mental clarity unreal, falling to sleep in minutes, weight loss to where I should be, black markings under my nails disappearing, shaking after limited physical exertion gone, etc, etc.

I am not saying this will work for you, but it is worth a try. I cannot stay on this diet daily, but I do have a smoothie for breakfast every morning, so 1/3 of my diet is pure, and I find if I go more than a few days without them, I crave them like I used to crave sugar.
