It has been seven years, after the birth of my last son, that I have had these symptoms.  The first time, they lasted 6 months, but then subsided.  Now I get my "mystery illness" anywhere from 12 hours to 7 days at a time, then I feel normal again.  The symptoms are as follows:  sinus headache, post nasal drip, eyes ache, chills (wear sweatshirts when others wear shorts), achey muscles, tired but sleep does not help.

I have seen many family doctors, had blood tests, thyroid nuc med test, biopsy and nothing.  I have had doctors test for autoammunine diseases, but nothing.  Three doctors even said, I have no idea what the problem is, and just throw up their hands.

So to see it could be CFS would help a little, but I don't have a doctor I trust, where would I find a good doc who could help a little.

That sounds like chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction. Symptoms do wax and wane.
I would suggest a Rheumatologist or infectious disease doctor who could test for EBV. If it is CFIDS, the EBV is probably going to come back high.
Cfids can cause new allergies or exacerbate old ones. The immune system becomes dysregulated.
I have the symptoms you describe and many more. Too much activity causes flares as does weather and I am on a strict gluten free diet. I also need to avoid yeasts.
Your post is a few month's old so perhaps you have already gotten a diagnosis?
