   Hello,

I am new here and I was not sure where I could or should post this :-)    I have been going to a tanning salon for 4 times now.  The first time I had no problems, I have also been going every other day.  Well the 2nd third and fourth times I went there were problems. I have gotton burnt,  I have a redness on parts of my skin and I have a rash with bumps on certain parts of my body.  Is this normal, or what is going on.  I have been and always have used a lot of moisturer on my body.  Is this normal.   I can not get an answer from anywhere, can anyone please help me.

               Thank you so much confused

Hi TY,
Well, this is a forum for people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. If anyone knows about rashes, they might reply, but I'm doubting it. It sounds like you're getting too much fake sun, especially if the bumps are blisters (which indicates a 2nd degree burn). The best I can advise you to do is see your Dr. Of course the tanning salon isn't going to tell you anything, because they would be liable if there was a problem (unless you signed away your rights in some kind of contract). But just call your Dr and say you need to be seen right away. And DON'T go back to the tanning salon!

Hi TY,
It maybe that you are staying in for to long or that the cream is to strong for your skin or that you may have perfumes on your skin when you go into tan..
I was going to tanning salons years back and similar happened to me, i found that the cream was to strong for my skin, perhaps this is what maybe happening to you....
