I have been having problems with waking up in the early morning hours drenched in sweat, freezing and nauseated.

I had a total hysterectomy 30 years ago and have been on estrogen.

Doctors have not been able to help me.  They increase or change my estrogen but I don't know if it's even from that.

I have had company for weeks and we'v been eating lots of fast food and snacks which I normally don't do.

Does this sound familiar?

I can say it sounds a little familiar, I feel so bad for you. I am not a Dr and it sounds like you and your Dr are trying to figure out what to do so that you can be more comfortable. I will say this, junk food can have a horrible effect on your body and considering the fact that it isn't something that you normally do. Your body maybe reacting to it in a bad way. With what you are going through your body needs to have a more balanced diet I think. Have you considered going to see a nutritionist? Maybe they can assist you with foods that can help you to feel better. I wish you luck and hope you feel better soon : )

Hello Jazz, Taking estrogen for so long can cause many problems for people. I have fibroid cysts in my breasts an have family members who have had breast and cervical cancer. My doctor told me many years ago that she would not put me on estrogen after menapause. Has your doctor talked about the dangerous side effects? As for fast food, its great for a change now and then, but changing your usual diet can cause you to feel really bad. I seldom ever eat sweets, which I love, but when I do I feel horrible. I have neuropathy and take gabapentin which wreaks havoc with my blood sugar. Eating bad just elevates my bc. Adding that to all my other ailments I just go to bed and promise myself I wont eat any delicious sweets, at least until I am offered cheese cake or italian cream cake. Then I just go to bed with the cake, and never leave any evidence.......hehehehhe. We gotta be bad sometimes!
