Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked here before, search didn't return anything useful and not got the energy to keep on searching.
I have suffered with ME/CFS for more than a few years (almost 18) after coming down with glandular fever when I was 13, and it never went away but just got worse and worse.
I suffered from swollen lymph glands ALL over. The strangest being down the front of my shins and in top of my feet.
I had my armpits/groin/throat checked regularly over the years for swollen lymph nodes. The ones in my throat, under the jaw, have always been swollen since. And ones on the side of my neck, like frankenstines bolts, one behind my left ear, (as far as I can remember) but when I've mentioned them no one has ever taken an interest.
My problem now is, could the one in my breast be related to breast cancer? I can't remember when it appeared, and didn't check my breasts regularly before I had my daughter (she's nearly 11) but am 100% sure it was there before.
I'm also adopted so know nothing about family history of breast cancer etc. and wonder if I should have some sort of blood test or screening.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated :)

Judie, I say it is always best to speak with your doctor & have this checked out. You wouldn't want to just try to overlook it. Have you had a mammogram in the last year? Sounds like you need to have one. It will help to put your mind at rest also. Stress is not good for CFS either. Swollen Lymph nodes are certainly a symptom of CFS/ME and yours could very well be from this. Try not to worry, go see your doctor, be checked out and take care of yourself. You have had this illness for quite awhile, how is your fatigue? Are you able to manage it effectively? Let us know what the doctor says about the lump in your breast, I hope it is just a lymph node & nothing else. Many gentle hugs, Denise
