Hi Lala,

I know of several people with chronic lyme who have had that. I have not had that specific symptom myself. (and have had cfs due to lyme for 17 years).

Not sure if it is due to the lyme bacteria or could be from other infections. You might want to check out the lyme board here to get more feedback.

good luck. also, I have had great success with Hansa Center's treatment. Finally have my life back! You can google it for more info. I highly recommend for anyone with chronic illness. They have a great success rate.

Take care,
N

I started having vertigo about 2 months ago, along with some fairly nasty vomiting episodes and have now progressed to vertigo and tremors and waiting on the results of my last MRI. I wish I could be more help.

I have had balance issues ever since I came down with this, which is exactly 2 years ago now.  I have had 2 balance tests (one at the Mayo clinic) that indicate a central nervous system disorder.  I had my vision and ears checked, as they play a central role in balance, but both were fine.  The person who gave me the test said I have the balance of an 80 year old (I am 49 and in great shape at that time).  I think this shows that there is a neurological component of this, and relates to the brain fog may of us feel.  I still have balance issues to this day, but not vertigo.  Just a feeling that I am swaying or off kilter most of the time.  Not sure what helps, but I am almost willing to try about anything to lessen this feeling.

Hi Lala,

I have those symptoms, along with many others and it is due to Lyme Disease and some other co-infections. Do you have any other symptoms?

Sounds like a virus attacking your nervous system. I would google Dr. Tent out of Michigan for a Skype appointment. He can help you out.
