Hi Recovery - CRPS is Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, my primary issue. It usually starts with some sort of injury (be it traumatic or surgical ... in my case it was knee surgery nearly 14 years ago) and in most simple terms affects the parts of the nervous system involved in transmitting pain information... so even after an injury heals there is intense pain (and other things - like extreme swelling, discolouration, abnormal skin temperature). I've got a whole collection of specialists (lol) ... as it sits currently I've got Pain Management, Cardiologist, GI, Neuro (1), Neuro (2 - autonomic), Endo.
My GP thinks that most of it comes from severe fatigue - I'm lucky right now to get a couple of hours worth of catnapping in over 24 hours - and that's been going on for months. I also have some memory loss and other odd symptoms left over from a reaction to a ketamine infusion last year :(
I was just wondering really if these were things anyone else had experienced.
Oh - and not likely to be a med reaction I think as my meds haven't changed in a long time.
