I had a colonoscopy. The doctor told me i had unspecified bleeding in the illium. Should I be concerned? The doctor didn't schedule a follow up or anything. In fact I didn't even receive a report on it. Could I have just been thrown under the bus on this?

Hey plbmint, I would say yes on the bus thing, I had to look your diagnosis up and its actually spelled ileum. I only bring that up because the ilium is actually a part of the femur. I would call up your doctor, request both a copy of the report/scan and an explanation and if he can't be bothered to give you an explanation take the report to another G.I.. Even if its nothing serious its still his JOB to tell you what is going on in YOUR body. Keep in Touch smurf
