Does anyone with FIbro of CFS take NSAID's to help with symptoms and if so are you having any success? I have most of the list I see posted for Fibro symptoms along with a lot of osteoarthritis and spondylosis in my neck and spine. I have rt. rotator cuff issues that is not quite ready for surgery along with mild carpal tunnel on both wrists. I slept 2 hours last night and my legs from the knee's down were tingling so intensely and then started feeling so heavy that that did not feel as if they were part of the rest of my body. All scary feelings. In 2008 I was taking Diclofenac and ended up with Stage II liver fibrosis. I have now with a Hepatologists ok started taking Meloxicam twice daily. I'm trying to see what meds Fibro friend are having successes with. So tired of being tired. My days and nights are getting longer and longer. I can't drive because of severe wooziness. Six years has turned into a lifetime.

Hi Dizzygoround, as far as I can tell this medication is fine as long as you don't take Any other meds or have heart or GI problems, I don't have either osteoarthritis or spondylosis but I do have spinal issues and if you have tingling and heaviness that from a lack of blood flow to your extremities and should be addressed immediately! Have you ever seen a Chiropractor? I know some people still think their "alternative" therapy and they are as an "alternative to drugs." I swear by mine, he has kept me on my feet and off of excessive pain meds for the last 3 years, not to mention away from the surgeon. I take nsaids, but I take IBU as I take several of those "drug interactions" on the nsaids list. I have never even heard of the list I got when I looked it up. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help but hang in there, we have Lots of members with a wide variety of experiences. Keep in Touch.
