I have recently been diagnosed with CFS and it is both a relief and scary. After many months of thinking I was going mad I now have a name for the way I feel.

Look forward to contributing if I can to this forum

Where to start!!

I have lost a job I loved, am having to sell my house 'cause I cannot afford to pay the mortgage,  it takes me all day to clean myself and the house, I cannot walk my dog on most days apart from that life is fine (grin).

I refuse to get depressed as I know many people are worse off than I am, at least I have a supportive doctor and specialist physician and live in a country where my health needs are paid for. Hopeing to move to a quiet place and heal my exhausted soul.

I am an IT professional with 30 years experience in the computer industry, my goal at the moment is to write a VB program to help people track their illness, feelings etc. I intend to make this freely available to fellow sufferers (this may take me many months as concentrating is not my strong suite at this time).

Thanks for the reply

Cheers Steve

Hello Steve and Welcome to the Forum
I'm extrememly interested in your program and would like to hear more about it.
I took a 1/2 year of Network Administration but due to complications I had to quit.
But I did manage to obtain my A+ Cert.

Now I have dabbled away from PC's (not entirely) and am studying to be a Medical Office Assistant.

Hope to hear from you soon!!!
Mel
