For many years, after my college days, I was interested in homeopathy.  That was 25 yrs ago.  Last few months (after talking with a friend)-   I got bck into my studies of this fascinating alternative medicine.
Anyway-  Has any tried homeopathic remedies for CFS..? cool In particular (for those who have some familiarity with Homeopathy)-  I am referring to Silicea..& Kali phosphoricum 6 C  (both available in pellets)-  Both are mentioned in Homeopathic texts-Especially for fatigue to to overwork, stress etc.   I figure,  it's worth a try, as there is no downside & is very affordable-

Soo, just asking-  as I will try this, actually in the next day or two-   Hoping to hear-(as  Allopathic medicine often offers very little & often does not recognize it )-  smilewinkgrin

Hi Wotan, thanks for posting, I have been trying to go as Homeopathic as possible(unfortunately I have illnesses that can't be treated All naturally). Since I got diagnosed with CFS/EBV and Gluten, Wheat and Dairy Intolerance, I have definitely been going Organic and I take Mag. Malate(heard about it on this website)Potassium, Omega-3, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, B-12, Calcium and a chewable Multi-Vitamin. I also have 5-6 prescriptions but thank goodness I also have a Chiropractor who knows I can't afford to see a Naturopathic Dr.. I had read some research when I first got diagnosed that said 65% of CFS were actually Adrenal Fatigue(the rest belonging in either the Mitochondrial group or the misdiagnosed something else group). My Neurologist sent me to and Endo 3 or 4 years ago after a low Cortisol  and Testosterone test to have my adrenals checked. I had the tests, they were "inconclusive" and then she promptly lost them. I got set up to do it again and the Hospital quit taking my insurance! So when I got to the state I just moved to and went to see my Mom's Chiro, the first visit, after hearing all my symptoms and issues, he said "that sounds like Adrenal Fatigue, have you been tested?" See Above-so he ordered me these Homeopathic Adrenal boosters, he said if I felt better while on them I definitely had AF and if they didn't do anything than that wasn't the problem. 3 weeks it took him to get the right answer, after 6 years of looking. I don't mean they are a super pill that Cured me, they have just given a clearer head and more energy than I had in 6yrs. I am going to be switching to a Mineral Supp. in a couple of weeks, so we'll see. At least I have Hope again! I had given up but now I can actually make goals again, small ones, but its Wonderful! Sorry this is so long, I've been waiting to get this info out on the site(computers have been down), so I hope this helps at least 1 person and I'll keep posting even if I crash and burn :(o)

Dear   RCM2day--

Thanks for your detailed response.

May I ask, what were the "homeopathic adrenal boosters" the chiro Dr.recommended for your.."adrenal fatigue"--? wink      Were they the little  homeopathic pellets that come in the small blue cannister..?    I buy my "homeopatic cures"  (Still experimenting..that's the great thing about homeopathy--it can't hurt you--!  Regular Drs..tell me, at worst, they are like..."sugar pills"--placebo effect--!)--   I am hoping for a good response-!

Hey Wotan, no they small, round, dark brown and they come in a small glass bottle. You can't buy them in stores except maybe GNC, but they would be crazy expensive. My chiropractor got them for me from Standard Process. I looked them up online and their processes are really good! No fillers, no preservatives, no gluten! and you can buy them online but its cheaper for me to go through my Chiro. Good luck with yours, did you read the posts about Magnesium Malate and Potassium, thats the first 2 supps I took for this and they help me a lot with dizziness, muscle weakness and the foggies.
