I may be moving back to the Sioux falls area at some point within the next year or so because my CFS has worsened and I now have autonomic symptoms, too. I can take an early retirement and since I am from S.D. and have family in Sioux falls, I may move there.

Does anyone gave recommendations for CFS docs in the area? Could be S Falls or Twin Cities, Omaha, etc....

It could be an MD, ND, Osteopath, etc....just someone who seems to keep abreast of the treatments etc....

Good Afternoon,
Because  chronic fatigue syndrome  and  myalgic encephalomyelitis(ME/CFS) are not well understood, different people get different results from the same treatment. The most important approach is talking to your doctor about all of your symptoms and finding a customized treatment regimen that works for you.
In searching for information for you this  Dr. from the Twin Cities area came up as a Dr. you may want to look into.  names to look into.
Michael Dole, M.D.
3408 Dakota Ave. S., St. Louis Park MN, (952) 924-1053
I found one in Sioux Falls:
John Hansen, MD - Sanford Health
Sanford Pain Center
1210 West 18th Street
Sioux Falls, SD 57104
(605) 328-1990
Please remember that I do not know these physicians and HealingWell does not recommend them as both physicians were found on the internet.  The best thing to do is to talk with other people who have been treated by any Dr. for CFS, do your homework well and choose a physician.  If you are not happy with your choice be your own best advocate and look for a Dr. that meets your needs.
One more thought, join social site; this is the link to The CFIDS Association of America
Again, HealingWell does not have any personal connection with these Drs.  They were found by my personal search per your request.  I am not recommending either Dr., just providing you with a couple of names for you to research.

I came across your post and am wondering if you have had any luck finding a good physician/practitioner/naturopath (anyone!) knowledgeable on treating ME/CFS in the Sioux Falls or Minneapolis area? I have found a supportive integrative medicine physician in Sioux Falls-Dr. Dawn Flickema at Avera Integrative Medicine- she is an MD, certified in holistic medicine, and does acupuncture, but her knowledge in ME/CFS specifically is pretty limited. I have not had any luck in the Sioux Falls area finding anyone with extensive ME/CFS and any leads would be greatly appreciated!! I am working on healing the root causes of the illness, so am doing a lot to improve gut and immune health, mitochondrial function and improve sleep quality, but am looking for more actual medical guidance in the area.
