I have been reading all these books on things that can help with CFS and a lot of them recommend different diets, juicing recipes, and vitamins that are supposed to help and bring endurance and energy. Has anyone tried anything? Has anything worked? Would love any advice!!

Hi Renee Nicole & welcome to the forum. I have read alot about diets & vitamins & supplements also, I tried some of the different things suggested but have finally come to the conclusion that they only work for you if you have a deficiency in that area. I took D3 for many years because I was low in that but it didn't help my CFS any. I take CoQ10 & that gives me some energy but my CFS is still the same. The things that seem to help me are the CoQ10, Magnesium Malate & dark chocolate. Nothing else has made me feel any better, what I eat doesn't affect me either but my daughter has to watch many things that she eats because of how they make her feel. I found when I was first starting out with this illness that I had a sensitivity to soy, after staying away from it for about 3 years I got over it & it doesn't make me feel sick anymore. We each have our own journey as far as what will help us so I wish you well, just don't rely too much on these articles & things, there are many out there who think all we need to do is eat better, sleep & get on with life. We have a very debilitating illness, if something really worked we would be all over it. Nice to meet you, hugs, Denise

Juicing when done right helps the immune system which in turn helps people suffering from many diseases.
If you have ME/CFS try things that have been documented to work for ME/CFS. Such as LDN or IV therapy. Its helped MANY people.

Hi Renee and welcome to HW! I'm from the CP forum and your subject caught my eye! Not recruiting new CPers even though I'm pretty sure you fit the bill unfortunately for chronic pain and many folks frequent several forums!

We currently have a 2 page thread on juicing that may offer you some insight and have several members currently using it as treatment.

Just wanted to welcome you to HW and invite you to check out the thread.

I don't have CFS, but I have struggled with fatigue for several years, and I've found that making green smoothies has been quite helpful.
Here are the ingredients that I find so helpful:
1) Sunwarrior protein powder (none of the other protein powders have worked for me)
2) Leafy green vegetables
Hope that helps!
