Hi I'm new to all this so forgive if I'm not up on protocol

I have developed some pretty bad anxiety issues and I hate
Meds (most make things worse in side effects)

Long story very short when I was a kid I had mono BAD!
I remember I had so little energy I would just hold it till I
Couldn't stand it before I went to bathroom. I wouldn't eat so
I wouldn't go to bathroom....

This past year I got West Nile and it knocked me to the ground
And I can't seem to regain my strength

No one can seem to figure out what to do with me. I still work
And struggle through each day... I can't quit work it's simply
not possible, nor do I want to give in to this beast.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can regain some strength
I'm a fighter, I'm going down swinging, but I hurt so bad sometimes
I start shaking and it's so hard to hide and be strong.

Any advice would be appreciated... GOD bless !

Hi Shy Guy, looks like we have a lot in common. I too had mono pretty bad when I was about 13 - 14. I also goat West Nile about 6 years ago. Never seemed to recover, kept having what I called 'relapses', until my Dr. told me a couple months ago I had Fibro. Don't know when it went from WN to Fibro, but here I am.

I was able to turn things around a couple years ago - for a couple of years. Then this summer it got pretty bad, ended up going to the Dr. and that is when I got diagnosed. Here is what I noticed for me.

A couple years ago I started taking liquid stabilized ion and noni juice. This summer I quit taking the ion and within a month or two I was in pretty bad shape. Started taking it again and within a few weeks, I was doing OK again.

Now I am not great, but am much better. I also have read on the difference between being acidic and alkaline. inflammation and disease need an acidic environment, so if you can try to eat more alkaline that might help. The last thing is, the fibro forum on this site is a bit more active than the CF. You might want to jump over there and get some more support.
