Hi all,
I posted some stuff a while ago when I was at my lowest ebb and got some releif from the contact and the knowledge that I was not alone, thakyou all for that but I think I have made a breakthrough and wanted to share this as it may affect others.
I still held a belief in my heart that my symptoms were organic and not phsycological, a feeling I know a lot of you are so familiar with and eventually found something which knocked me out. As a "supersensative" Coeliac who has to observe a strict Gluten free diet, a condition I thopught was well under control I found to my hooror that Gluten free foods which in UK come from a Pharmacy under prescription were not actually gluten free and did in fact contain minute amounts of gluten due to the fact that the process whereby they remove the gluten is by washing the flour. The problem comes about by the manufacturers ( who lets face it are commercial orgs who are interested in profit0 attempting to make gluten free bread taste as good as normal bread so they use this wheat based grain which has been washed. I believe that the minute amounts were slowly attacking my system again and giving me the classic fatigue that goes with this condition. Icidently most so called gluten free foods only have to comply to something like 200 ppm which to a sensative sufferer can cause devastating symptoms over a period of time
Since I found this out i have completly rethought my diet and am on a sort of organic varient with foods that cannot possibly contain any gluten whatsoever and brother what a difference, I noticed this on day two and am now on day 4 and counting feeling better everyday. Early days yet but at last I have hope. I'm sorry if this is a bit long but if it helps anyone I would be so glad for you to share my breakthrough as I know a lot of CFS suffers do have many other allergies
Hugs
