So, my quest to get rid of pain and fatigue brought me to a holistic drs. office where she recommended some blood allergy tests. At this point, I was willing to try anything and I have to admit, I am a skeptical person. But, I've been feeling horrible, had horrible fatigue but not diagnosed formally with CFS, joint pain, you name it. Oh, and she also did some viral titers.

I got my results back and I had IgG antibodies in high titer to wheat, bakers yeast, brewers yeast, vanilla & eggs. I had low titers to a ton of stuff, too much to mention. So, I am week 4 of an elimination diet. I cut out wheat, yeast, eggs and most of all the stuff I am supposed to be intolerant to. I have to say, it's been a step in the right direction for me. For the first time in years, I feel almost normal. The hand swelling and joint pain are basically gone! My GERD is basically gone! My energy is much, much better. And, I've been eating some things that I had low titers to like milk products and chocolate.

Also, I had high titers to EBV, (which we know is assoiated with CFS), parvovirus and one of the herpes viruses that causes slapped cheek disease.

Has anyone ever taken any anti virals? My MD suggested this if I am not feeling better soon. I wonder if there are any natural anti virals that are safe?

Thanks!!!!
