Hi all....
I tried a search on this, but my two little neurons apparently didn't do it right, so I apologize if I'm repeating something from a previous post.
After several years of nothing working consistantly, I've decided to give Yoga a go.  I start tomorrow.
Has anyone had any experience with Yoga in helping their CFS symptoms?
One of my biggest concerns is that I have Dysautonomia as well, and I'm afraid with the wrong move I'll just fall over and faint.
Any input would be appreciated!

Hi Robert! I'm new to the site and wanted to say hello ! I have also been diagnosed with dysautonomia/postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, with underlying chronic fatigue. I have explored many alternatives in order to regain health. I think yoga would be beneficial, but start out with the mild, gentler forms. Also, Tai chi is helpful for so many illnesss and rebalancing the autonomic nervous system. How are you feeling these days and are you quite symptomatic with your illness? I'm curious because dysautonomia is so rare . I was diagnosed almost 2 years ago and have taken an eastern(chinese) approach to healing. I have made great progress since I have adopted this way of medicine in the past 12 months. Hope you're feeling better and woulb be interested in knowing more about your story..seems like you have an open mind to trying alternative methods of healing. Take care, Karina

i wanted to let you know i've tried lots of stuff for my CFS and i find yoga to be very helpful. and the best part is there's no side effects! you need to do it consistently for the benefits to take full effect. it's not a cure but a good treatment.
