hi everyone I have been reading about chronic fatigue. I was diagnosed with lyme in october last yr and have improved a lot. but I am reading where you can have viruses in addition to lyme. I was told at one time before the lyme diagnosis i had chronic epstein barr. then I was told I had fibromyalgia.

I did have positive IGG titers but not Igm back in april of 2013. I keep wondering if I should be retested because I have so much fatigue and we also think I have dysautonomia. I do have genital herpes 1 and 2. and I had chicken pox as a child.

I have chronic ringing in my ears due to lyme but my niece had mono as a teenager and she said her ears having been ringing ever since.

I have been doing research on valtrex to decrease viral loads and of course it would help with my herpes. it is worth a try isn't it. can anyone tell me if this helped there fatigue? I will try anything

Hi there! I was diagnosed with fibro, cfs, and ibs. And then found out it was all coming from celiac disease. So on the diet for over a year..took awhile to get it right but I am improving now and can finally do more things. I used to be too tired or sick for much of anything. Have u been tested for celiac..it does cause the chronic fatigue!!

A year an half later now. I am worse. Just to let u no it wasnt a cure on gf diet. :(

For ringing in the ears, which I have constantly, I take 100mg of Zinc a day. Works very well. I miss a day, it comes back.

Mystery1,
Have you talked to your dr about taking L-Lysine for the EBV and herpes? It deactivates the herpes virusses (EBV is also member of that family).
