I was diagnosed with post viral fatigue syndrome that started 9 months ago. Months ago I started getting a numbness feeling in the tips of my fingers on one hand. It has since progressed slowly and is constant for the past two or three months. The Mayo clinic Doctor told me that my B-6 levels were high and thought I had to much B vitamins in my system. Another local Doctor (my Lyme Dr.) said it could be a cervical nerve issue and to see a chiropractor. My CFS local Dr, who is treating me with anti-virals, said its indicative of HHV6 infection. A Dr. a the University of Michigan said it was Parathesia, but could give no reason for it.

I was just curious if anyone with diagnosed CFS has the same symptom and if so, any treatment? I was leaning toward some type of autoimmune problem as a result of my CFS

Well, yes it is a Lyme symptom. However, it is also a pinched nerve symptom and nerve damage symptom.

I have damage to my 5th cranial nerve and I get it in head and mostly in my right hand and foot.

Chiropractor with neuro MD backround was very help to me for years, he retired.. Never bothered to look for another. Now I use easy Yoga and meditation to control the symptons.
