I was just diagnosed with mono at the age of 37 as far as i can remember i never had mono as a child, i am married so im not kissing anyone i dont know..i do have a very weak immune system i have pneumonia twice in less than a year, had 6 surgeries including a pacemaker. I am suffering so bad right now especially with my lymph nodesy understanding from my understanding 2 were 1 cm in diameter and they are continuing to grow and become more painful. They did not give me anything for treatment. Is it possible that i have infectious mono?? Or is this the natural process and what can i do to get better.

Sidenote: i am wheelchair bound so i am limited to where and what i can do

so sorry Cabayota we are not doctors here. Best we can offer is to get a second docs opininion. Sounds like you might need an infectous disease doc.

I feel your pain and frustration.

The Thread you posted on is old, so I am going to start a new on for you in case someone else can give you some of there experience.
