I don't deal with CFS per say, but a good friend does with the CFS/ME and she and I share a lot of help for one another...

This theory is mine and something to think about....So much of our public water is fluoridated, over a 100+ cities have rejected and removed "F", but MANY have not...citizen groups are fighting this issue, include me in that fight.

Fluoride consumption can build up in the body and if one consume tap water that is fluoridated that "F" is building up. Fluoride inhibits thyroid production which can be causing so much fatigue for many many many.... think about this. Drink Clean Spring or Distilled water if you want to believe what I say. You can do a search on Dangers of Fluoride...

"F" also can affect the Pineal gland which works for our sleep.

It causes other nasty health issues, but thinking of these 2 for this group.

Also, we can have low potassium levels, which will keep us more fatigued...check your levels and if you are near the low end, think about extra potassium thru the day. My friend has taken 700mg at one dose and says the energy was great...she takes extra thru the day as do I....I take an extra 200mg during the late hours of the AM so I can have more energy when I wake up.

One can overdose, don't do that but think about this...eat more potassium rich foods but I don't believe we get enough from foods....and our foods are so depleted of valuable nutrients...

SOY is a killer for the thyroid...so if you don't know that...get off the SOY wagon.

I was on it in the beginning when it hit the U.S. and I found myself falling over with fatigue....my chiro tested me for SOY and said "get off it".... I became crazed trying to educate people on this Soy Ploy.....

Anyway, this is it for now....do your homework too....my friend and I are forever doing ours and working to feel better.....cured, I don't know that will ever happen. J

JaminHealth,
Thanks for this post. This topic is very 'up' for me lately. Our
local health department is trying to add fluoride to our county drinking
water. I have had the chance to hear many dentists and university
research scientists speak against it. You're right. It does cause
thyroid problems. I grew up with it in the water. Didn't stop me
from getting cavities or becoming hypothyroid and now I have CFS
as well. I follow a healthy diet and lifestyle. It makes a big
difference. Just a note here, but it's very sad all the 'bunk'
people have been led to believe about fluoride. It can also cause
neurological problems in children, lower their IQ, later cause brittle
bones and unhealthy teeth when they reach their late teens.
Am just learning about potassium. I'll have to check my
levels. These are very good things to keep current on.
I don't believe they cause this illness,
but no one is certain even of that yet, but not dealing
dealing with them, can put an added layer
of stress on the immune system.

I'm glad you have an awareness, SO MANY do not. I grew up in "F" water and back then we had no idea, there was no iinternet and the water dept didn't announce to people "we are adding "F"... they just did it, all over the country...By the time they reached our city in So. Cal so many were aware of "F" toxin and we fought it for 3 yrs but we lost our battle. These people have so much darn power and no ethics.

I have a mouthful of dental work and I grew up in "F" water as I said....and nasty nasty OA.

So, it all comes together....I get news from Fluoride Poison groups daily and the big issue these days, how this "F" water if harming animals, people's pets....

Keep fighting and spread the words to STOP IT. J

I would recommend getting a juicer and juicing your vegetables. You can get your potassium from the real vegetables. Read the label and see what is in the V 8 juice. Most like there are other things in it that are not good for you. I try an stay away from can goods when I can.
