Hello to all,
If this isn't the right forum, kindly point me in the right direction, please.
I am one of those, never feel good, people. But can't put my finger on what it is.
Main issue right now is, Extreme tiredness.............but hard to explain! Please bare with me.
This has been happening off and on, but the last few months it is on a lot more than it is off. It either happens within an hour or two of waking or early evening. A tired feeling that just overwhelms. Can NOT keep my eyes open. Feels almost like lead is in them, forcing them to shut!! I do doze off at times, even with my hands on the keyboard......pathetic.
It definitely is not caused by overwork (retired), exercise (very non-active)........it is beginning to worry me. Has anyone else had these 'episodes' of sudden unset fatigue? I should add that after I get over it, I am fine. But when it happens, I do feel kind of weak..not like fainting weak, just blah weak. Am I making any sense?
I could handle it or understand it if it was only in the evenings, but it's the times shortly after waking in the morning that really bothers me.
My eyes do feel gritty at times......I have had a exam by a MD for eyes (can't spell the actual name!). Just had a complete blood work up a few weeks ago as part of yearly physical.....it was basically fine. A few things were either high or low, very few and only out of the normal by a small margin. Had a vascular screening done in Feb. as the hospital affiliated with my PCP offers it every year. BP runs on the low side (110/64), pulse ox is normal....97 - 98...I do have mild copd....no flares but am on a inhaler.
I feel like I've rattled enough, not even knowing if I'm on the right group.
Please, if anyone has had this type of feeling/fatigue..........what have you done? Have the doctors found a cause? How is your quality of life?
I'm just plain tired of it all (no pun intended!)
Thank you so much!
