well. first off, i would start to try to replace all my foods with a vegetarian foods. secondly starting practice an intermittent fasting, which is something necessary to be active. also limiting drinks can make you feel worse, but it may make you more prone to stand up from bed and try another things which you do need to do in order to feel better. i point to diet and drinking habit as your obstacle to start taking care of the real problem.

I too suffer from Chronic fatigue and figbromalgia. and often times or most of the times i'm too in my bed in pain. you see, we may be, can not stop from being sick. but there is still a chance for us to progress in doing better with healthier experience, which at least can make you breath better.

My dear child,

(I am 64/m) I feel for you because of being in such a terrible position, but have you ever considered the idea that being in such a situation is your fault (because of being obese)!? Yeah, it is probably not nice to say such thing! And, do you believe that it is nice from you to spoil your own health!?

So, you see, it is “very easy” to undertake something – reduce your weight!!! I know that you would prefer the solution where mom and dad could buy something to help you, but here, you must take your life in your own hands. I have so many times read in the Internet “I want my life back!”. You want it back?! Than, fight for it!!!

The things are as follows… Most of the symptoms you have are the consequence of the discrepancy of the capacity of your heart and the demands of your body concerning blood circulation. Usually, young people have big reserve of heart capacity and almost never experience troubles. But, with gaining weight, the demands of your body raise strongly, and the heart capacity remains constant or slightly decreases. I suppose that you have a lot of friends who are also obese and do not have any problems as jet. It happens in all the cases where body demands have not jet overgrown the possibilities of the heart (not meaning that they will not reach their critical limit soon, because they are going in that direction). Poor blood circulation is the cause for dizziness, tiredness, headaches, poor memory, pains in all parts of the body, permanent gasping, tachycardia, slow dying of the organs and tissues etc.

The sooner you loose your extra weight, the better will be the remaining condition of your organs. What worries me a bit, is that your brain is no longer functioning well, every now and than you can not remember the right word. Nervous tissue is especially sensitive to bad blood supply. Undertake something immediately, starting from today!

Your best weight should be W(kg) = H(cm) – 100 . If you succeed to reduce weight to normal and there are some remaining symptoms, what is very probable, I promise to jump in again and to coach you.

Have a happy New year!

Sorry about your father’s death, Cfs…11! Could not possibly know that, so do not feel responsible for hurt feelings. You look so young in the videos, and I wanted to teach you a lesson and to give you an impulse to correct your weight. Officially, in America, 67% people are overweight or obese. In a foreseeable future, it will present a largest challenge America will face. Reduce your weight at any cost and as soon as possible.

Additionally, if you browse the forums, you will realize that very great problems are experienced by the people who were very physically active – the sportsman and the people who were exercising all their life to remain fit. Your being a dancer, brings you in the same group with them.

Since you already have a therapy underway in a form of a diet you mentioned, I will withdraw. Never mix the treatments as to be able to know was the treatment successful or not.

Bee well !!!

Kriya, I totally get it. It's very painful to have had so many goals for yourself and all of them be put on hold or never being able to ever accomplish them. I was in school on my way to becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. So it's not like I was just a big lazy fat *** like some people think. It can be such a huge slap in the face that as soon as you say you're sick, people throw the fat card right at you. I don't think if a person had cancer they'd say the same. I've researched that CFS is just as debilitating if not mor than Cancer, AIDS etc. Being overweight isn't the only issue hear. It may make much of my symptoms worse, but as I had mentioned to another user, I haven't always been big, and at once was very, very healthy and still had these issues. So I definitely get what you mean when you just want to cry and you feel very down. Sorry, I'm totally rambling. Just have so much on my mind with this whole condition. It can be very overwhelming. Hang in there honey.

Hi, welcome to the forum, this is not a really active forum so I belong to other forums as well. Sounds like you could absolutely have CFS/ME. Many of your symptoms are like mine & other symptoms are known CFS/ME symptoms that others have. I was dx'd in 2006 by a Rheumatologist, she told me I had this & I didn't believe her. After reading about it & talking to others who have it I realized I did have CFS/ME. You don't need to go to a CFS rheumy but be prepared to move on to find another if they don't know about CFS/ME. More & more drs are coming to realize that this is an actual disease & very debilitating. This is good as things are starting to turn around for us.

Pacing is very important in maintaining with this illness. Never overdo & break things up into smaller jobs. For example: I will clean a counter off in the kitchen, loading the dishwasher as I go for about 10 or so minutes. Then I rest without stressing about getting up again, when I feel like it I get up & work for another 10 or so minutes. One of my favorite things to do is watching Judge Judy, I relax while I am watching the show & then I unload the dishwasher during the commercials or I clean the toilet or what ever I want to do that day. My home is by no means as clean as it used to be, I am sick & I know it so I do what I can. Coming to terms with your illness once you are dx'd is a big step & some never get there. Stress & guilt over what you can't do will keep you really sick, let it go & get the rest that you need. I am pretty much housebound but I like to get out once a week or so, some weeks not at all & some weeks two times. It all depends on how I am feeling that week. It really helps me feel connected with people & I try to enjoy myself while I am out even if I am just running errands, I usually do all my errands on the same day. I live with my daughter & her two kids so I have company a lot & love it.

As far as diets go they are hard with this illness. I am about 20 LBS overweight & I am on an endless "on diet/off diet" mode. First I had to loss 50 LBS and it took me a while because I lead such a sedentary life. I have just come off a diet because I got really discouraged but I will go back on it in a few days. Medications can add to the problem & if there is anyway at all to go off of them that would help you a lot. Take care of yourself & get that diagnosis, sounds like you are well into the process. Gentle hugs, Denise
