Hi all,

due to a death of my husband a year ago, I had a relaps. I have been on and off antibiotics for 10 months. Throat infections plus other CFS symptoms. I was supposed to take along trip months ago but my immune system was/is out of control. The only fortunate thing is that I'd did not affect CNS, thanks to some other treatments.

So I decided on my own to take IV drips of vitamins and electrolytes, it helped some, until I found for the first time on web the cocktail for IV for CFS patients. The doctor who posted it was oncologist.

So I went to an oncologist who recommended Filgrastim. After a week of taking 5 injections I feel so much better, not to go to many details.

However, I don't trust that doc. and I am self medicating it based on my symptoms.

Does anybody know anything about this medicine for CFS?

Thanks a lot.

I tried to make it as simple as possible, if more info is needed let me know.

I am sorry you have lost your husband, my husband died about 8 years ago & I know how hard it is. After my husband died my CFS/ME flared & I stayed that way for about 18 months. I think it had to do with the stress I was under due to my mourning. As the mourning started to ease so did my CFS/ME symptoms, after 24 months I felt better both in my mourning, my depression & my CFS/ME symptoms. I have never heard of the med you are talking about but if you try it, I hope it helps. Keep us posted, hugs, Denise
