My Dr. believes I have CFS.  I think I have had it for awhile and didn't know it, cause I was really tired for a long while and just thought it was stress and didn't go for help.  Anyway now I am stuck to my house and I haven't been able to work or do much of anything for almost a year.  I am so frustrated, I just want to get back to my life, even if it is my tired life I had before (at least then I was able to do things.)

Some days, I feel a bit better and I get a little motivated to do things around the house and I think yea I am getting better then I get knocked back down again. 

I haven't been able to sleep easily or good since I do not know when, no matter what sleep pill I take (I will only take natural.)

Sometimes I think that I have some serious thing wrong with me that the Dr. is not catching.

Anyway, the one symptom I have that I really worry about and I never hear anyone else with CFS mention is this weird feeling in my chest and heart palpatations that affect the way I feel.  My Dr. gave me an EKG and it was fine and supplements that are suppose to help my heart, but nothing has worked.

Has anyone else heard of other people having these symptoms?

Hi and Welcome ......Your post caught my eye due to the palipatations.........I am a crohnie and also have Anxiety and Panic disorder............I get the heart palps all the time and it is darn scary ,..I know what you feel ........Hop on over to the A/P forum and there is no doubt threads there that may help you out and see if some of what peeps say /post pertains to you.............I am sorry you also suffer with the CFS.......I can not realte as I do not have that but peeps with this DD will post .....you have come to a great place and forum ( CFS) for support,empathy and honest caring.........Do take care and Be well .........God Bless...........Lyn

Welcome. I'm sorry you have been having so many problems. Lyn is right about the possibility of panic and/or anxiety causing the palpitations. A lot of people with CFS have anxiety and take meds for it. I have palpitations but mostly it's when I try to exercise (which isn't very often because my body usually crashes when I try to exercise).

Lyn's idea about visiting the Anxiety forum is a good one. THe CFS forum usually isn't as active as some of the other forums - maybe because we are too tired to post much, but there are a few people who are here on a regular basis.

Take care. Has your doc put you on any other meds besides the supplement?

Thank you both for replying.

I do not take prescription drugs.  I am taking only natural drug supplements, though some of what I am taking can only be given by a doctor.  I am taking supplements for anxiety and I do not feel as though I have much anxiety anymore.  It is just this feeling in my chest and the palpatations that will not go away.  I actually do feel better then when I first started going to my doctor, but I still have a hump that I cannot seem to get over, that will enable me to go back to work and life.
