Hi Rose, I'm sorry to heat about
your daughter. CFS can make a person feel sick as well as fatigued, weak and in pain. Unfortunately those symptoms are present in so many illnesses that it can often take a long time to sort through everything and get an accurate diagnosis. Did the rheumatologist check the tender points for fibromyalgia? There are a lot of similarities between fibro and cfs, but there are also some differences.
If you haven't already, you might want to post your information on the lymes forum - they know a lot about
lymes. I have heard that lymes tests can be negative and a person can still have lymes. My personal opinion is that it wouldn't hurt to see how your daughter does on the antibiotic, but ultimately that has to be a decision you make with the doctors.
I hope you are able to find some answers soon and that your daughter begins to feel better. Please ask any other questions you have. Take care
