Hey Panicky -

I just noticed on a thread you said you still think you may have lyme.  Any progress on finding a doctor?  I can't emphasize enough the importance of going to a lyme specialist who can diagnose you clinically, no matter how many other doctors tell you it's not lyme and no matter how many negative test results you get.  If you want more info., pop on over to the lyme board and we'll be happy to help.  You can also email me if you want; my email address is posted in my member profile (just click on my user name and you'll get there).  Good luck with figuring things out!

I really don't know much about CFS, but your symptoms do sound a lot like lyme. I think they both have many symptoms that overlap with many other things. The good thing about investigating lyme is, if you have it, you can be cured! And you'll have the mental satisfaction of knowing what's wrong. For me, I had a really hard time getting to a doctor -- just driving there terrified me, because I could barely stay awake behind the wheel. Is there a family member who could support you by taking you to a lyme doctor? Definitely do email or come over to the lyme board if you want more info. I think it would at least be worth investigating; that's just my opinion. :)
