Hey Painter. I'm so glad the lunesta is helping both with your sleeping and with your cfs symptoms. How long have you been taking it? I have heard that getting good restorative sleep is crucial for chronically ill people. I hope you keep getting good results with it. Diagnosis:  UCTD (lupus) 2006; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; lupus symptoms began 2003; CFS 1991; Mono 1985 Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Prednisone 5-10mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Amitriptyline 10mg ; Neurontin 300mg; Prevacid; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain;   Clickable:   LUPUS INFORMATION & LUPUS RESOURCES . I wonder if there is a way to contact the drug company by e-mail and let them know it has helped with your cfs symptoms. There are so many drugs out there that are now used for purposes other than their original intent. The neurontin I take was ariginally a seizure med but it helps with my nerve pain and it helps me sleep. There's a big list of meds that have been discovered to help things besides their original intent. You could let your doctor know too and then he/she might know how to let the drug company know. If they get enough feedback they might run some clinical trials - who knows. We need something for CFS - there's really nothing out there that really helps us all that much. Diagnosis:  UCTD (lupus) 2006; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; lupus symptoms began 2003; CFS 1991; Mono 1985 Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Prednisone 5-10mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Amitriptyline 10mg ; Neurontin 300mg; Prevacid; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain;   Clickable:   LUPUS INFORMATION & LUPUS RESOURCES .
