Thanks for asking. I'm still on prednisone which has still been my saving grace. I just wish it didn't have the bad side effects - otherwise I'd ask to stay on it for the rest of my life. My life is really really busy right now so I'm pretty exhausted. After the next two weeks things should slow down and hopefully I won't have suffered too much. When things do settle down I would like to look into that book regarding adrenal fatigue, especially for the diet - my diet needs a pretty big overhaul. I'm also hoping after I get rested up a bit that I can gradually work into a regular exercise routine. I'm also intrigued about accupuncture based on what you said it did for your sugar cravings. I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all of the info you have given to others on this forum. I think if people read what you have been through and that you are now figuring some things out and seeing some results, that it will hopefully give others some hope. Chronic fatigue (whatever causes it) is absolutely horrible to live with and most people don't understand how truly horrible it is. I hope you continue to see positive results. I hope you had a great weekend and a great anniversary!!

Update: I am very sick today. It looks like everything I was trying to do caught up with me quicker than I thought it would. I haven't felt this bad in a while. I'm going to spend a lot of time resting and sleeping today.

HippiMom...

Sorry it too me so long to reply. I read your first thread, and was happy, but your second one wasn't so good. I'm sorry that you're feeling bad. How long are you allowed to be on prednisone?

Diets are a big thing. But you don't have to read the book. The diet in there is basic, and fits anyones lifestyle (if you want it)

Basically, you cannot take in any caffine, sugar (to certain extend. Meaning if something has 2g-5g of sugar, that's ok, but no candy, icecream) or white flour products.

Fruit, veggies, whole grains (oats, brown rice, 100% wheat bread), healthy fats (olive oils, nuts, all natural PB) and healthy proteins (eggs, red meat, fish, chicken)

I've found that exercising in the morning is great for me. I try to do crunches in the evening if I have the energy, but I'm at my lowest then.

You do not have to thank me :) I'm happy to give out anything that I've learned and read. Whether it's linked to CFS or not, it's still sucks ;)

Take care HM!!! I hope you feel better, and have a great and restfull weekend!
