I just wanted to let everyone know that on top of my lupus and CFS, I have been hit with a horrible case of the flu.  I have a high fever, extreme body pain and a headache so bad that there are times I want to be put out of my misery.  I'm usually online and check the forum a few times a day, but wanted to let everyone know that I probably won't be posting much or at all until I start feeling better.  I know you will all get along fine - we have a great group of people here. Take care everyone.

Thank you everyone, for your kind thoughts. I'm still very fatigued (more than usual) and have a headache and hurt all over, but I think I am slowly coming out of it. I have to remember that any of us with a chronic illness will probably take longer to recover from something like the flu. I'm so glad to see the cfs forum really take off. It used to be a very slow forum, but now we have a lot of great people posting and trying to help each other out through this very difficult illness.

I missed this thread, because lately I've only been coming to the forum when I receive e-mails.

I hope that you feel better real soon! :)

I don't know how true this is, because I'm just learning about it myself. I do a lot of research online and I ran across many sites like the one I've posted below. Lately, I have a habbit of relating candida to other illnesses.

This is a quote from the site:
Of course, with so many people suffering, the doctors couldn't brush our symptoms aside forever. Many more people are now being diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or CFIDS (Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction), Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS), Lupus, Hypothyroidism, Leaky Gut Syndrome, Crohn's Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Celiac Disease, chronic sinusitis, atopic eczema, Seborrheic Dermatitis, Tinea Versicolor, GI dysbiosis, adrenal dysfunction, Rosacea, Psoriasis, Macular Degeneration, Barrett's Esophagus, Lactose Intolerance, Gluten and/or Casein Intolerance, Meniere's Disease, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and sometimes just depression (which can accompany many disease states), just to name a few.

Some symptoms candida can cause:

* an incapacitating fatigue
* problems with concentration and short-term memory
* flu-like symptoms such as pain in the joints and muscle
* extreme tightness in the shoulders and neck
* hyper-acidity/acid reflux
* brown colored mucus in the back of the throat
* blisters in the mouth/tongue/throat
* either white or "blood blisters"
* un-refreshing sleep
* sore throat
* white coated tongue
* dark circles under the eyes
* an aversion to being touched or jumping
* "crawling" skin
* chronic sinus problems and headaches including migraines
* chronic dental problems

and many more

I hope that I didn't offend you in any way. No way am I saying that you don't have Lupus...but wouldn't it be great if you really don't, and you can finally get well? I'm sure that candida has something to do with my fatigue.

I have been taking Threelac for less than 3 weeks now. So far the only change that I have notice is that I can eat normal without gaining weight. I used to eat normal and gain 5 lbs in 3 days...so I would stop eating normal so that I wouldn't gain weight. Normal to me means breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Tru,

Have you seen any signs of fatigue going away with the ThreeLac?

From what I see, they seem to be an alright company. I did a candidia test a while back, saw the long string my cup, however I didn't buy ThreeLac, just something from a local health store. I might give this a shot, maybe it will help some symptoms, and possibly is in association with Adrenal Fatigue. Dr. Wilson mentioned this on his website too.

Hey, if it doens't work, I can get my money back, according to them. :)

Sorry for highJacking the thread, HM2 :(
