Hi friends. Today I found out the insurance company is discontinuing my disability benefits. I knew they were posturing for this step, but now that they have actually done it I still am in shock. I have no other means of income. That money I used to pay my health insurance premium (over $1000/mo for me and the kids!) and otherwise I have been living off savings from selling my house, which is now basically gone. I am completely unable to work due to severe mental and physical fatigue and weakness which began after a head injury. No one can understand the fatigue, so therefore, in their eyes, it does not exist basically. Though anyone around me can see it as clear as day, to the point where strangers on the street have asked me if I need an ambulance! (That one was embarrassing! ) The financial devastation from this accident has been bad enough, now it is even worse, and when I think about this I become completely anxious and depressed, which of course only makes symptoms worse. I hope someday someone can develop a way to "prove" fatigue, to show it objectively.

That is awful! And I have been scratching my head here trying to see same path you can take to take to fight this, but I also realize that exhaustion and stress make it impossible to fight.

I just said a prayer for you. I hope something comes through that can help you.
