I don't remember exactly when I started taking these, but for some time now I've been taking daily 200mg of Selenium, 400 I.U. of Vitamin E, and 1000 mg if Green Tea in capsules. My urologist asked me to take these for prostate health. But I think Vitamin E might also affect the immune system. And I know that some surgeons tell patients to discontinue Green Tea before surgery. So it probably does something to the blood.

Has anyone read anything about these supplements that might cause problems with Chronic Fatigue.

Andrew, that's a good question that I really don't know the answer to. Do you have a doc that is treating your CFS symptoms? If so, it would be a good idea to ask your doc. I do know that people do have to make sure that the amount of any supplement they take is safe as well as making sure it doesn't interact with any meds they are taking. Hopefully someone else might know more about these supplements.

I'm just getting wise to the fact that most doctors don't understand this, and that I'm getting no real help from my doctor or the specialists he's sent me to. So now I'm looking around for where I might get help. But last night I was at a CFS and FM support meeting, and got the name of a certified clinical nutritionist who helped someone else in the group. And he might know about this kind of thing.
