Ten years ago I was diagnosed with FMS and CFS.  (I also have severe migraines (Hemiplegic and Cluster Migraines), IBS, emphysema and COPD)
Over the last 2 years the symptoms of the CFS/FMS appear to be getting worse in that I am so exhausted--and it is not the normal exhaustion you get, it's more of a suffocating exhaustion--an exhaustion so intense I just cry.  This lasts for months on end. And not that the migraines aren't bad enough now I am getting headaches every day and it is always in the mid-morning.  (Don't get me wrong they eventually go away with 3 or 4 excedrin.)  I have been trying to come down with a cold for almost 3 months now, but all I get is a sore throat and (arthritic type) body aches.  Because of the emphysema and COPD I have been on anti-biotics (lung congestion) 4 times in the last 3 months.
I have done a lot of reading concerning fms and cfids.  Including University of Montanas report of autoimmune disease and their corralation with asbestos.  And have started receiving a book called ProHealth.  It deals with Fibro, CFIDS, IBS-
The magazine ProHealth advertises certain Vitamins and Minerals that are supposed to help with FMS and CFIDS.  I currently take Melatonin, Glucosamine, Ester C, and lots of Vitamins.  Is there anyone here that receives this magazine and have tried these different supplements? (i.e. Fibro Freedom, Vitalaxin, ProEnzyme, etc.)  Have these worked for you?  I am on disability and some of these are pretty expensive, even though I would like to try them.
I live in an area of the country that does not take FMS or CFIDS seriously--as I am told 'I am just getting old.'  It is difficult to distinguish if the 'exhaustion' I am feeling is coming from the CFS or not getting enough oxygen.  Thanks all

People with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue are being tested and treated for toxins, infections, and viruses, and are experiencing relief. They are being detoxed and treated with hormones in order to get things back on track.

I have free info from the link that I listed below it tells you how they treat Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue. I think that their treatment is too expensive. I scheduled an appt. so that I could get free info, and then I can do the same. Call this number 1-866-443-4276. It will help you understand how to treat your illness and it's possible causes.

I don't know if they will send free info without an appt...but you can ask. I set an appt because I really wanted to go even though it too many miles away...but I was willing. I had to cancel because it was to far away and too expensive. Then when I saw the treatment I said to myself, "I already know that...and that's what I'm trying to do." So, you really don't need to go there you and your physican can treat you.

DETOX, DETOX, DETOX, have hormone, toxin, mineral, virus, and infection tests performed, take supplements and hormones until things get better.
Meds: Armour Thyroid, Hydrocortisone, and lots of supplements in addition to my multi-vitamins.
