Also My skin has started to look realy unhealthy ive got realy bad bags under my eyes and my skin has brown little marks like frecols ive allways been unhealthy and i hardly ever eat fruit and never eat vegetables allways chips and fried food or oven food (with chips) i know its bad but im young! I only drink at weekends but i drink alot at weekends and ive been getting stnging feelings in my side for about a year now!

Hi and welcome. I'm sorry you have been feeling so poorly and having problems with your skin. You are right that some of this might be because of your lifestyle, but if some of your symptoms are new, there might also be something else going on. My suggestions for you are to first, get a really good physical exam by a good doctor and get a lot of bloodwork done to make sure everything is okay, including your thyroid. Another suggestion is to see a good registered dietician who can help you make sure you are getting the nutrients you need. Vitamins help, but I have read that they aren't a replacement for major things missing from your diet. Hopefully a good doctor can help you determine the cause of your fatigue and skin problems. Let us know if you have any other questions and keep us updated on what you find out. Take care

Im guessing youre in the UK so Id be conservative about your expectations of what an NHS doctor will do to secure a diagnosis for this. And to be honest if you go to one and say that youve always been unhealthy, have no fresh fruit or veg and only eat oven food and also drink too much them I wouldnt really blame them. Are you overweight by any chance? In any case you need to quit drinking and eat a healthy detox diet for at least a month and see if theres any improvement in your general wellbeing.

See a doctor now just to be on the safe side though.

I'm in the US, so this may not apply to you, but I saw a nutritionist in a big public hospital that treats uninsured patients (so where you usually have to wait the longest for your care, sometimes months just to get a doctor's appointment), and she saw me right away. I went to her office to make an appointment and she just said, I'm free now. I'm guessing hospitals and clinics in the UK would also have a nutritionist on staff.

I also had problems with my skin, I would get flaky dry patches, mostly on my cheeks, and I found out I was allergic to cabbage (including broccoli, caulifower, etc.) and when I stopped eating it the problem mostly cleared up. Don't know if this has any relevance to your problem.
