That's what I had to do, because all of the tests that MD's gave to me came back normal. You have symptoms of low thyroid function...like me. It doesn't mean that your thyroid is damaged...it just means that for some reason thyroid hormones is not getting to your tissues...it can be cured.
I purchased the saliva and bloodspot combo for my adrenals and thyroid...and they both proved that indeed there was something wrong with me.
Also, you might want to purchase books on adrenal fatigue and thyroid disorders. Usually if you have adrenal fatigue you also have a low thyroid function.
I have adrenal fatique(or one of the many names that is called), low progesterone level and hypothyroidism(tissue resistance to thyroid hormones).
Meds: Armour Thyroid, ProGest, and lots of supplements in addition to my multi-vitamins.
