this is an embarrasing problem i have here, but i might as well share it as you are all just computers. ever since i believe i contracted m.e (well before i knew) i have had a skin problem where pustules form on my chin. they are like typical white heads that can be popped, except they grow much bigger and have a horrible yellow look to them. it is much better than it used to be a few years ago, but it is still something i find distressing, and can shatter my confidence when it is bad. i still have trouble looking people in the eye sometimes. when i was a teenager people would pretend they hadn't seen me when i said hello and i lost alot of friends because of it.

it is improved now and i have plenty of friends who couldn't give a crap about how i look but it still bothers me, if only because they get sore and irritable and there is paranoia left over from the worse days. when i am feeling well it goes and when i feel bed it gets worse. even so, there may some other factor, for instance my diet, which may be affecting me so please post with any advice or similar experinces you may have.

mark, I don't have that problems, but the interesting thing is that several people on the lupus forum have described similar skin issues of something that seems similar to pimples, but definitely are different than pimples. I don't know if this helps or just confuses things more. Aren't these illnesses great for our self esteem????
