I was wondering if anyone here has improved or recovered.  I don;'t know many people who have.  If so, what treatments have you done.  I have just done "symptom management", i.e. sleep meds, pain meds, antidepressants and it's gotten me nowhere and my health has deteorated in the past year where I am now bedridden 4-5 days of the week.  I can't afford any more alternative treatments, but I am hearing about some intramuscular

immunoglobin treatments, etc.  I also did tons of supplements through the fibro and fatigue center and made no progress there either, just went broke doing it.

Thanks for any info.

HealthSeeker, unfortunately I think we are all struggling here to find something that works. I'm sorry your health has gotten worse and that not much is working for you. Lately I have been hearing about FMS and CFS treatment centers, but I don't know where they are located and I don't know if they accept insurance. I think there might be a topic somewhere on this forum about that if you search a few pages back. I wish I had more information for you, maybe someone else will know more about the treatments you asked about . Take care

Thanks!

I have been to one of the fibro and fatigue centers and got nowhere (maybve each one is different) and they don;'t accept any insurance so I wouldn't go back again anyway.  I am curious if people are actually getting better from them and if any of them also have lyme disease.

alot of it is finding the right kind of supplements for you from a respected company. immune support from colloidal silver can be very helpful if there is an immune problem. i know some people have found a fair amount of relief taking homeopathic medicines for yeast sensitivity and also antivirals. if you know that your symptoms worsen with mental or physical activity a big thing is changing or reducing those activities to a level you can handle without worsening your symptoms.
i've had cfs for six years now and just in this past year have i found any noticable amount of relief (though still not anywhere near how i was before getting sick) and i found that there's a lot of trial and error with the supplements and homeopathic medications to find what works for you and not exeeding your limitations physically and mentally. (stress is a killer!)
i wish you the best of luck
