Please advise! I am filling out my SSDI application. For the question, "What are the illnesses, injuries or conditions that limit your ability to work?" What do you write down if you do not have a specific diagnosis? I tried to list the "conditions" as they say, but there is not enough room to describe all I deal with. Do I just do a full list in the "remarks section?"
(I also asked this on the chronic pain forum, so sorry if you already read this there.)

pasara, I wish I could help, but I'm not familiar with the application. I really hope someone in the CP forum has been able to help. Our CFS forum hasn't been too active lately so I don't know if anyone here will see your post. God luck with SSDI, I have heard it is a very long and frustrating process, but hang in there. I think they hope that people will give up and quit applying or appealing. Take care

Hi Pasara,

I'm from the lupus forum, but saw your question and thought I'd pop in to help you out a bit. I have been on disability for 8 yrs now. When I filled mine out I had the same problem with space to answer some of the questions. Just put what you can in the space provided, put a small note "see remarks" and then in the remarks section put the question number and add the rest of your answer.

I hope this helps some and I wish you the best with your application and getting disability. Take care.
