My chiropractor told me that he doesn't think that I have CFS because I'm not hypersensitive... he doesn't have to be gentle with me during adjustments, and I'm able to tolerate the therapeutic massages I've been receiving following a car accident in February.
A few questions:
First of all, has anyone here who has been diagnosed with CFS who receives chiropractic care and/or therapeutic massages? Do you find that you're extra sensitive, or are you able to tolerate the adjustments/massages even though they hurt a lot?
Secondly, how do you feel after a massage? For the rest of the day I feel like I can't keep my eyes open, even if I drink lots of water, take and take adderall. The massage therapist said that this could be because getting a massage is something of a passive work out for your muscles.
Any ideas?
